  • Assist physicians during diagnostic procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
  • Document all patient procedures accurately and manage service charges at the time of delivery.

Team Collaboration: As a vital member of the patient care team, the technologist is expected to communicate effectively with all healthcare professionals, ensuring a comprehensive exchange of relevant patient information.

Quality and Safety: Uphold safety standards by following established imaging protocols and utilizing ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure. Regularly perform quality control checks on imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.

Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning opportunities and participate in departmental initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited educational program for the required certifications.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in multiple specialty modalities, including X-ray and CT.
  • Required certifications include Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) and ARRT credentials in relevant specialties.
