Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Humboldt Pacific LLC. This role is responsible for the coordination of fuel transportation logistics, ensuring safe and efficient movement of freight throughout California, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.

The ideal candidate will have experience in dispatching drivers, coordinating schedules, and maintaining compliant log records. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, drivers, and internal teams are essential.

Responsibilities include:
  • Dispatching drivers via computer systems and phone communication to achieve cost-effective and timely movement of freight
  • Liaising between customers, drivers, senior dispatchers, human resources, maintenance, and compliance
  • Maintaining proper equipment documentation and maintenance records
  • Supervising drivers and planning dispatches to accommodate company and customer goals
  • Problem resolution and accurate data entry into Prophesy, Netradyne, and Samsara software

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of dispatch experience in the fuel transportation industry, with 1 year of supervisory experience within the transportation industry. Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and state and federal safety regulations is required. Additionally, strong communication skills, customer service experience, and geographic knowledge of the U.S. are essential. A high school diploma or higher, with some college desired, and proficiency in Windows computer, MS Word, and MS Excel are also required.
