We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Bilingual Therapies. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students in a K-8 setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges, and develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support their academic and social growth.
- Counseling and Support: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, parents, and staff, creating a safe and supportive environment for students to express themselves and address their concerns.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement effective strategies and interventions to support student success.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in school psychology, and contribute to the development of IEPs and other educational plans.
- Education and Certification: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution, and valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts.
- Experience and Skills: Minimum 1+ years of experience as a School Psychologist, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
