Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately conduct specimen analysis
- Perform phlebotomies
- Collect specimens
- Process specimen tubes for send-out testing
- Conduct point-of-care testing (iSTAT and INR)
- Ensure specimen integrity throughout the collection process
- Document and verify results in necessary systems (iKnowMed and Orchard)
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy and laboratory diagnostic experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
- This role typically demands a full range of body motion, including manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for the operation and manipulation of complex laboratory equipment.
Work Environment:
- The position is based in an office setting and involves significant interaction with management, staff, external auditors, and clients. Frequent travel by air or automobile is expected, approximately 70% of the workweek on average.
