Position Overview

The In-Home Therapy Clinicians at Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc. deliver essential support within the community, focusing primarily on youth facing personal challenges due to psychiatric and emotional disturbances stemming from various stressors, life crises, academic issues, developmental challenges, mental health disorders, adjustment difficulties, or substance use.

The Home-Based Team (HBT) actively engages with youth and their families, offering tailored support and services designed to fortify family dynamics as they work towards their objectives, mitigate child protective concerns, and foster resilience, empowerment, and self-sufficiency. The in-home therapy services cultivate a structured, consistent, and strength-based therapeutic alliance between the clinician and the youth and family, aimed at addressing the behavioral needs of the youth. Clinical services and assessments provide vital assistance to youth and families grappling with diverse emotional and physical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct diagnostic evaluations, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and group therapy.
  2. Maintain accurate clinical records for assigned clients, ensuring all documentation is completed clearly, concisely, and promptly.
  3. Deliver a minimum of fifteen client contact units (billable hours).
  4. Participate in staff meetings, weekly supervision, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  5. Secure all necessary prior authorizations from funding sources (e.g., insurance companies/Medicaid) for services provided to assigned clients, adhering to the policies set forth by Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc., funding sources, and regulatory agencies.
  6. Engage in the rotation of the 24-hour on-call system and be available for telephone consultations to provide timely crisis support services to youth and families, facilitating effective interventions.
  7. Maintain all required training and certifications.
  8. Provide necessary clinical services at the preferred location of the individual served (in-home, in-office, or virtually).

Education and Credentials:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • LICSW or LCSW preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.

Experience:

  • Experience with third-party billing is desired.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must possess reliable transportation and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
