**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Yard Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team at Kenco Group. As a key member of our distribution center operations, you will be responsible for safely operating various trucks and tractors to transport products to customer locations and moving trailers in the yard.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate various trucks, tractors, and trailers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor freight for secure devices and straps to prevent damage during transport.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on straight truck equipment.
  • Report any instances of damaged product or delivery issues to the Site Operations Manager.
  • Keep equipment fueled, tidy, and clean, and ensure compliance with inspection requirements.
  • Perform warehouse duties as required, including picking orders, measuring and weighing products, and operating a forklift or order picker.

**Requirements**

  • At least 2 weeks of training with another driver in a straight truck less than 26,000 lbs. GVWR.
  • Appropriate license with state required endorsements.
  • Meets FMCSA and company requirements, including a DOT Medical Certification, DQ file, and road test.
  • Clean driving record and forklift experience preferred.

**Travel Requirements**

Depends on the site and customer, with some sites requiring travel up to 75% with overnights when applicable.
