Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in the ECHO Lab. As a key member of our cardiovascular services team, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic medical imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year allied health education program preferred
  • A.R.D.M.S./CCI registration or registry eligibility required; BLS certification within six months of hire
  • Two years of experience in echocardiogram performance preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and maintain strong organizational skills
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work at a rapid pace under stressful conditions
Working Conditions

This role may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and physical injury. You will be required to follow safety standards to minimize exposure to these risks.

Physical Requirements

This position requires lifting patients, pushing heavy equipment, beds, and carts. You must be able to perform these tasks safely and effectively.
