Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Test Engineer to join our team at Eclipse Enterprises in Düsseldorf.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans for automotive systems and components
  • Collaborate with internal developers and partners to ensure interface requirements are met
  • Conduct vehicle tests, focusing on system and overall vehicle testing
  • Participate in review meetings to review testability of functional and technical requirements
  • Document development results and handle deviations and errors
  • Define test content, test environment, and test methodology
  • Conduct re-tests and regression tests
  • Adapt and supplement existing test methods in a dynamic environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, such as automotive engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
  • First professional experience in vehicle testing
  • Desirable: experience with DOORS, certification (ISTQB and IREB), CAN bus, general diagnostic tools, and common automotive software tools such as CANape and CANoe
  • Sound knowledge of measurement tools, such as voltage/current measurement
  • First experience with electric vehicles desirable
  • Very good German and English language skills in spoken and written form
  • Good technical understanding and curiosity about future technologies and mobility solutions
  • Independent and goal-oriented work style, as well as willingness to travel
