We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Fresh Start Academy in Havana. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students.

• Provide first aid care and medically prescribed services to students.
• Obtain and review consents for medication administration in school, documenting each instance.
• Train designated staff on medication administration and documentation.
• Maintain security of school health supplies and instruct students in health education.
• Correspond with parents and medical providers on student health needs.
• Record immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health data.
• Maintain accurate related service logs and coordinate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed.
• Develop Individual Health Care plans for students with allergies.

• Current/Active Registered Nurse licensure.
• Considerable knowledge of medical and mental health disorders and subsequent treatment.
• Working knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies.
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services.
