Maintenance Technician I

Scout Energy Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our production operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our oil and gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and manage production in assigned areas to maximize production and control lease operating expenses.
- Apply basic knowledge of Production Operations and all associated equipment to perform tasks efficiently.
- Maintain all company-provided tools and equipment, including vehicles, computers, and cell phones.
- Submit work requests as per the workflow process and perform tasks assigned by Foreman or Lead in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Understand alarm management to minimize downtime and maintain awareness of downtime effects on volumes.
- Monitor lease costs in daily activities to achieve 0% tool and equipment loss.
- Perform lease maintenance as needed to minimize contract labor.
- Perform preventive maintenance on rotating equipment, including PMs and calibrations.
- Demonstrate efficient computer skills and data entry into various electronic databases.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues associated with rotating equipment to minimize failures.
- Recognize and report issues associated with rotating equipment.
- Utilize the buddy system as needed to reduce overtime effects.
- Conduct regulatory testing and reporting as directed by the Foreman.
- Ability to work with a diverse team to achieve production and cost targets.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, SCADA, eVIN, etc., or the ability to learn.
- Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility.
- Has integrity, good communication skills, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work safely and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- 0-5 years of general mechanical/industry experience.
- Possess a valid driver's license, CDL a plus (and may be required in some locations).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug and background check.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state-certified program.
- Certifications from trade schools and/or professional organizations are preferred.
- Must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining equipment within oil and gas facilities.
- Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50lbs, and occasionally up to 100lbs.
