Job Summary

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of hotel operations during the overnight shift. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nightly audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
  • Manage front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and key control
  • Prepare and review daily reports, including revenue reports, guest folios, and other relevant documents
  • Balance transactions and reconcile discrepancies
  • Conduct security walks to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless hotel operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively with guests and staff
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, with strong organizational and time management skills
