Job Title: Adjunct Construction Instructor

This position is responsible for teaching construction classes face-to-face. The successful candidate will evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching classroom lecture courses
  • Curriculum development and restructuring
  • Supporting student success
Requirements:
  • 6000 hours of construction work experience or an associate degree in construction and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested construction experience
  • Ability to pass a background check and have a valid U.S. driver's license with a good driving record
Physical Demands:
  • Frequent sitting and use of hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone, and basic office equipment
  • Regular talking and hearing
  • Ability to drive company-owned or personal vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Cognitive Requirements:
  • Reading, writing, calculating
  • Social interaction skills
  • Reasoning and analysis
  • Works with minimal supervision
