Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a Correctional Facility in Beaumont, Texas.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care to inmates, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the physical and mental well-being of our inmate population.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct health screenings, assessments, and triage for incoming inmates.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and document inmate medical histories and vital signs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
  • Educate and counsel inmates on health-related issues and self-care.
Requirements
  • Current and valid LPN license in the State of Texas.
  • Prior experience in a correctional or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
