Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records, including patient medication histories and inventory levels.
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Perform routine inventory management tasks, including ordering and stocking medications, supplies, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with changing regulations, policies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Typing skills preferred.
  • Two years of math and science preferred.
  • No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
  • Ability to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.
  • Must obtain certification within one year of employment.
Work Environment
