Pulmonology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Medical Director to lead our critical care team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a critical care specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and outcomes.

About the Role:

• As the Medical Director of Critical Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care in our ICU units, including MICU, Neuro, CVICU, and CCU.
• You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement best practice evidence-based protocols and improve patient outcomes.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in clinical teaching and support our robust GME program.

Requirements:

• Board certification or eligibility in most critical care specialties, including Pulmonology Critical Care, Anesthesiology Critical Care, Surgical Critical Care, etc.
• Experience in Cardiac ICU is a plus
• Ability to obtain TX licensure
• Commitment to 15 (12-hour) shifts per month, with a mix of day and night shifts
