Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team at Amedisys. As an occupational therapist, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care to individuals in their homes, promoting independence and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to address patient needs and goals
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient problems and develop effective interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Supervise home health aides and other support staff as needed
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of assignment
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by ACOTE
  • Eligible to take or has successfully completed the NBCOT certification examination
  • One year of related occupational therapy experience or approval from regional clinical leaders
