Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, with experience in in-patient, out-patient, consult liaison, and telepsych settings. They will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team and overseeing psychiatric inpatient care and the access center.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Oversee psychiatric inpatient care and the access center
  • Manage a caseload of patients with varying levels of complexity
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy
  • Residency trained in USA
  • Residency in Psychiatry
  • Active NY State Medical License
  • Board Eligibility/ Board Certification in Psychiatry within 5 years of residency completion
  • DEA - NY State required
  • Infection Control - NY State
  • Certified BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred
  • ECFMG required if applicable
