Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Arkansas Hospice. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and ambulation.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the Registered Nurse.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and services provided.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Follow standard precautions and basic infection control procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in direct patient care, preferably in a hospital, long-term care facility, or hospice setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions
