Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Security Technician to join our team at Eastern Security Services. As a key member of our Service Technician team, you will be responsible for servicing and troubleshooting a variety of security systems, including video surveillance, intelligent video verification, security intrusion alarms, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, install, and test residential and commercial security alarm systems
  • Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and programming of alarm panels
  • Research and test new alarm products and related equipment
  • Installation and programming of commercial and residential Fire Systems

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of alarm service and installation experience
  • Comfortable working with technology and self-motivated to learn
  • Ability to travel as required (no overnight travel)
  • Ability to work overtime as required and participate in on-call schedule after six-months
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess and maintain a clear driver's license and safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) year Associate's Degree
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
