Job Title: Control Systems Engineer - Honeywell DCS

Volt is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of Honeywell DCS-based control systems in the industrial petrochemical sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop control system functional specifications
  • Support control system design and capacity analysis
  • Develop DCS logic and interface software applications compliant with customer/company specifications and/or applicable industry standards
  • Develop/Execute test procedures
  • Develop operations manuals
  • Remotely support/troubleshoot system after installation
  • Coordinate with project team for scheduling/scope management and execution
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 4 or more years of programming and support experience of Honeywell DCS and related control systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows operating system(s) and MS Office applications
  • Ability to read and understand P&IDs and general process specifications
  • Strong/clear written and verbal communication skills with internal team members and external clients
  • Self-motivated with desire to work autonomously
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with technical writing
  • Knowledge of general terminology within the Oil and Gas industrial sector, other sectors are a plus
  • Knowledge of network architecture
  • Knowledge of multiple control communication protocols - EthenetIP, Modbus, OPC/DA, OPC/UA, Profibus/net, CIP, DLR
Salary:

$115,000- $150,000 per year

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
