Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified Audiologist to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality care to service members, ensuring they receive the attention and expertise necessary for their hearing health.
Your Responsibilities:
As an Audiologist, you will:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate hearing impairments through various diagnostic tests.
- Analyze test results in conjunction with patient history to determine the cause and prognosis of hearing loss.
- Utilize electronic medical records to document findings and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform otoscopic examinations and manage cerumen as needed.
- Train and support paraprofessional staff in audiology-related tasks.
- Complete necessary documentation for Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires.
- Travel as required to provide audiology services at multiple locations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in audiology.
- A current, unrestricted audiology license.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
