Our Beverage Specialists are essential to the heart of One Twenty Three, catering to a diverse clientele, whether they are enjoying happy hour, dining, or stopping by for a drink and a bite before a show. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome and interact with all guests in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Set up, maintain, and operate the bar area.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and sanitary bar environment and equipment.
  • Follow standardized recipes and departmental guidelines.
  • Prepare garnishes to maintain freshness and quality, set up mixers, and pre-mixed beverages.
  • Complete opening, closing, and cleaning checklists daily.
  • Verify all guests have valid ID, are over 21 years of age, and do not serve drinks to intoxicated individuals.
  • Mix, prepare, and serve beverages according to established recipes.
  • Clean and close the bar at the end of service according to procedures.
  • Restock glasses, liquors, beers, and wines as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and standard drink recipes required.
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year in a beverage service role.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and adaptable.
  • Preferred certifications in Food Safety and Alcohol training.
  • Able to work under pressure, multitask, follow directions, and collaborate with a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and a team-oriented individual.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physical ability to stand and be active for 8 or more hours, climb stairs, lift up to 40 lbs, and use basic cleaning equipment.
