Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a PRN basis. This role is essential in delivering high-quality care to our medical and surgical patients while ensuring safety and continuity of care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the nursing process and patient care delivery.
  • Provide nursing services to assigned patients, adhering to professional standards.
  • Guide and educate patients and support staff, utilizing independent judgment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including various therapy services, to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Float to other departments as needed, including Emergency Room and Outpatient Treatment Center.

Work Schedule:

This is a PRN position with flexible day shifts available throughout the week.


Compensation:

Pay is commensurate with experience.


Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Iowa is required.
  • Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation are essential.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Completion of a telemetry course within the first year of employment.

Special Skills:

For ER roles, certifications in ACLS, TNCC, and PALS are required. For Med/Surg/OTC roles, ACLS and PALS certifications are necessary.
