Job SummaryThis opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement. As a Travel LPN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and contributing to the assessment and development of care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and apply them to the resident's clinical setting.
- Conduct testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status and provide care as needed.
- Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to emergent situations.
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents, administering medications or treatments as ordered.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications.
- Complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
