As a Registered Nurse in Cardiology Cath, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide direct and indirect care to patients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Prescribe and administer medications as needed
- Supervise and evaluate the work of ancillary nursing personnel
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
- Valid Registered RN license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Medication Competence certification
- Computer Competence certification
- A Medication Examination certification
- Basic Dysrhythmia certification (if applicable)
