We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students' communication and language development in a school setting near Niles, Illinois.
Job Details:- First semester of the upcoming school year only
- Monday to Friday
- Caseload: ages 3 - 5
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose communication disorders and determine appropriate intervention strategies
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students, focusing on improving speech production, language comprehension and expression, articulation, fluency, and social communication skills
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication needs in the classroom
- Adapt materials and activities to facilitate students' access to the curriculum and promote their communication skills
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology in Illinois
- Previous experience working as an SLP in a school or educational setting is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders in children
- Familiarity with standardized assessment tools and therapy techniques commonly used in schools
