Job Summary:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and putting away inbound produce in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and put away all inbound produce in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure product is stored in a way that maintains proper rotation and minimizes waste.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the removal of empty pallets and proper disposal of waste.
  • Account for received product and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least six months of experience in a warehouse or related environment.
  • Proficient in the use of a stand-up forklift and riding pallet jack preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of fresh produce and inventory management preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, turn the body, and walk.
  • Lift and move cases weighing up to 75 pounds continuously to and from heights ranging from floor to knee, waist, shoulder, and overhead.
  • Use hands and fingers to peel and stick labels on cases.
  • Handle and feel objects and/or equipment controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to talk and hear; must be able to hear warning horns on moving machinery and equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close and distance vision, depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
