Job Overview

Position Objective:

The primary role is to operate electroencephalographic equipment to assess impulse frequency and variations in electrical potential across different brain regions, facilitating the diagnosis of neurological disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirms orders through the Health Information System (HIS) and prioritizes patients scheduled for electroencephalographic assessments (EEG tests).
  • Prepares and positions patients appropriately for EEG procedures.
  • Attaches electrodes securely to the patient's scalp.
  • Maintains patient records, both in paper format and electronically through digital storage systems.
  • Identifies brainwave patterns, compiles records, and inputs results into the Health Data System (HDS).
Minimum Qualifications
1. Completion of Senior High School or possession of a High School Equivalency Diploma, along with one year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in an accredited hospital or in the practice of a recognized Psychiatrist, Neurologist, or Neurosurgeon; or,
2. An acceptable equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience as an EEG Technician

Standard working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
