Job Summary

The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will provide Diabetes and Nutrition services to the ARcare patient population, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process as appropriate. This includes Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), DSME/T, and other services as applicable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide MNT, DSME/T, and other services to patients, families, and/or caregivers in ARcare Clinics as scheduled
  • Demonstrate nutritional educational skills, including identifying patient needs and building care plans
  • Interact and educate effectively with patients of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities
  • Properly document patient information using the Nutrition Care Process
  • Use health information systems efficiently to manage and improve services
  • Follow relevant regulations and guidelines, including Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, American Diabetes Association, and HIPAA
Requirements
  • Completed a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a US regionally accredited university or college, with ACEND-accredited supervised practice program
  • At least one year of experience preferred
  • Licensure as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, CPR, and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist preferred
