Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at St Josephs Hospital – Savannah GA. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients undergoing interventional procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Administer sedation and reversal medications as needed
  • Communicate effectively with providers and patients regarding patient status and procedure details
  • Operate Meditech EMR system to document patient information and procedure results
  • Work collaboratively with interventionalists to ensure smooth procedure execution
  • Participate in unit-specific orientation and training as needed
Requirements
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience with IR procedures and sedation administration
  • Proficiency in Meditech EMR system
  • Ability to work 4-10 hour shifts, including weeknights and weekends
  • Flexibility to rotate holiday call and respond to emergencies within 30 minutes

Our radiology department operates in a fast-paced environment with 2 suites/labs at each facility. You will work closely with interventionalists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
