Our client is an expanding manufacturer located in the suburbs of Chicago, specializing in metal stamping and fabrication for a diverse range of industries. With a workforce of just over 100 employees, they are looking to grow their team in response to increasing demand and support from their parent company. Position Overview
  • Responsible for the development, interpretation, and management of engineering documentation and schematics
  • Engage in troubleshooting as necessary, collaborating with production staff and other engineering teams to resolve issues
  • Supervise manufacturing operations, including stamping, welding, assembly, and roll-forming, to pinpoint areas for enhancement
  • Assist in project quoting for clients while ensuring manufacturability aligns with customer requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or comparable 3D modeling software
  • Experience in project collaboration, including customer interaction and cost estimation
  • Background in metal manufacturing is advantageous
  • Technical degree is preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Polish is a significant advantage
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 based on experience
