As a Retail Operations Manager at Burlington, one of the largest off-price retailers in the nation, you will play a crucial role in leading the store team and overseeing the overall operations. You will act as a role model for store associates, embodying and reinforcing the company’s Core Values, fostering trust and respect among colleagues and staff, building strong teams and partnerships, and driving business outcomes. You will mentor, train, and develop a team of Cashiers and Customer Service Supervisors while ensuring our associates deliver exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee the Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining accurate record-keeping procedures.

+ Provide support to Customer Service Supervisors to ensure customer service expectations are met and facilitate smooth customer flow at the registers.

+ Manage the execution of operational and receiving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including the continuous flow process.

+ Monitor the receiving process, transfers, debits, damages, and charge-backs, collaborating with the Receiving Supervisor to ensure inventory accuracy.

+ Assist the Store Manager and others in various areas, including staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.

+ Support the management of other operational areas as necessary.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in an Off Price, Big Box, Specialty, or medium to large-sized, multi-unit retail organization. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must also be capable of lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. and should be comfortable using scheduling and reporting software.
