Job Description:
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced medical and surgical care unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This role involves delivering care using the nursing process and age-specific requirements, adhering to departmental and hospital policy and procedure.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement care plans and evaluate patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associates (ASN) with current BSN program enrollment or enrollment within 18 months of hire
- Massachusetts RN licensure in good standing
- BLS Provider credentialed by American Heart Association by first day of employment
- Minimum one year of direct patient care experience as an RN strongly preferred
