About the EmERge Program:

BluePearl's EmERge Program offers a comprehensive one-year training experience in emergency veterinary medicine. This immersive program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a skilled, confident, and proficient emergency veterinarian.

Throughout the program, you'll receive hands-on training, lectures, mentoring, and real-world experience. You'll have the opportunity to work with experienced clinicians and develop essential skills in emergency and critical care, as well as other specialties.

The EmERge Program is divided into three parts:

  • 16 weeks of accelerated boot camp and initial training, including hands-on labs, case-based lectures, and group discussions.
  • 20 weeks of hands-on, immersive training guided by an experienced clinician mentor.
  • 16 weeks of experiential training, with continued mentoring.

A one-year work commitment after training is required, totaling two years. During this time, you'll receive a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited veterinary school.
  • Passed (or pending) the NAVLE.
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of interest.

Compensation During the Program:

  • Weeks 1-16: $3,076.92 bi-weekly (equivalent to $80,000 annually).
  • Weeks 17-36: $3,846.15 bi-weekly (equivalent to $100,000 annually).
  • Weeks 37-52: Market Rate starts here moving forward if you're ready to start experiential training by week 37.
