Role Overview
Position: Lead Python Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Lead Python Developer, you will oversee the design and execution of sophisticated software solutions utilizing Python.
- You will guide a team of developers, offering technical mentorship and ensuring the delivery of superior code quality.
- The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Python development, with substantial experience in APIs, data processing pipelines, and AWS cloud services, applying DevOps principles, tools, and practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on advanced Python development, familiarity with frameworks such as Django and Flask, and experience with FAST API and RESTful API web services.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a technical team.
- Proficient in data processing and analysis using Python libraries.
- Experience with AWS cloud services (including Lambda, Fargate, Serverless solutions, ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, etc.) is essential.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, tools, and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
- Experience with Go (GoLang) frameworks and tools is advantageous.
- Experience with Pandas and web frameworks like Flask or Django is preferred.
- Experience in creating and maintaining RESTful services using Python is required.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in the Banking or Financial industry is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $145,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
