Job Title:

MRI Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for MRI examinations, selecting anatomic and technical parameters, and producing high-quality images.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations
  • Select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
  • Produce high-quality images
  • Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and develop film
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department
Requirements:
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Minimum of two years of current MRI Tech experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/MRI Tech program
  • Active unencumbered MRI Tech Oklahoma license
  • One year of Epic experience
