Job Title: Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at the Gjelina Group. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting food and other goods from our facility to personal or business addresses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick and prepare orders for delivery
  • Conduct quality control checks on goods
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Use navigation tools to deliver parcels to the correct address
  • Collect, transport, and deliver a range of items to designated locations
  • Ensure all orders are delivered on time, in the right condition, and to the right place
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years of driving experience
  • Problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and organization
  • Previous restaurant/retail/hospitality experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record and ability to drive a sprinter or small box truck
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work early mornings
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include standing, sitting, and walking for long periods. You will also be required to regularly lift, carry, and/or move up to 40 pounds, frequently lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

You will also be required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Able to climb in and out of a van multiple times per day and walk up and down stairs as necessary to deliver items.

Work Environment:

The work environment may be moderate to loud with surrounding areas that may be wet, hot/cold, slippery, or humid.
