At American International College, we are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty, Education to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty, you will play a critical role in teaching content area education courses and developing course syllabi and lectures that align with college standards.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Curriculum Development: Teach content area education courses as assigned by the Dean, and develop course syllabi and lectures that incorporate the latest evidence and best practices into course content.
- Academic Policies and Procedures: Adhere to the College's and programs' academic policies and procedures, including class attendance, grading, withdrawal from courses, academic dishonesty, and other relevant policies.
- Communication and Collaboration: Regularly check AIC email for timely correspondence with the Dean, Department/Division Chair, students, and other stakeholders, and be available to meet with students as needed.
- Qualifications: Master's degree in education or a related field is required; a Doctorate in education or a related field is preferred; and Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) licensure is required.
