Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to guide our engineering division. This role presents an exciting chance for someone who is enthusiastic about automotive production, cost efficiency, and ongoing enhancement. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in overseeing tooling, manufacturing engineering, and maintenance operations. They should also have a solid history of managing capital budgets and projects, addressing facility-related challenges, and instituting standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the manufacturing engineering team, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Formulate and execute cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage tooling, manufacturing engineering, and maintenance functions for peak performance.
  • Supervise capital budgets and projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Address facility-related challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Direct and mentor the engineering team, promoting a collaborative and innovative atmosphere.
  • Monitor engineering expenditures to ensure adherence to the capital budget.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes, pinpointing areas for enhancement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Establish standard operating procedures across all operations to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with TS16949/ISO14001 standards.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of managerial experience, ideally within the automotive manufacturing sector.
  • Proficient in Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills in engineering.
  • Proven experience in managing tooling, manufacturing engineering, and maintenance.
  • Background in cost reduction and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee capital budgets and projects.
  • Familiarity with TS16949/ISO14001 standards.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
