About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide diagnostic and treatment services for children with developmental and behavioral disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with experienced clinicians and administrators to provide comprehensive care to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic and treatment services for children with developmental and behavioral disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Participate in teaching and supervision activities, including training and mentoring residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects focused on improving outcomes for children with developmental and behavioral disorders.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry with added qualifications in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Experience working with children with developmental and behavioral disorders, including autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities.
- Strong clinical and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to participate in teaching and supervision activities, including training and mentoring residents and fellows.
Montefiore Health System offers a competitive salary range of $210,000-$260,000, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical and dental insurance, and retirement savings plan. Additionally, we provide access to ongoing education and training opportunities to help you stay up-to-date in your field.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $225,000 based on experience and location.
