Key Responsibilities
  • Assess Resident Needs: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted care plans to address these needs.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Administer Nursing Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and providing emotional support and comfort.
  • Evaluate Nursing Care: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care, making adjustments as needed to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Supervise CNAs and Other Personnel: Supervise and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they are providing high-quality care.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring that all parties are informed and involved in the care planning process.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse License: Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent Technical Skills: Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently document resident care.
  • Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to provide high-quality care.
  • Good Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
