Job Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compounding Pharmacist to join our team at King Pharma Ventures. This role is crucial in ensuring the preparation and dispensing of tailored pharmaceutical compounds that meet the unique requirements of our patients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile compounding with a valid Texas state pharmacist license.
  • Possession of Board-Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist (BCSCP) certification is essential, along with experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and a thorough understanding of relevant state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, be self-motivated, and adapt to evolving pharmacy practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address complex compounding challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be instrumental in formulating, preparing, and dispensing customized pharmaceutical compounds designed to fulfill the specific needs of individual patients.
  • Knowledge of USP guidelines is required, and the pharmacist must be comfortable operating in a high-risk compounding setting.
  • This role involves writing clinical content and a commitment to continuous learning about new formulations, industry trends, and regulatory updates. The pharmacist will also be responsible for developing new master formulations based on patient requirements and ensuring the integrity of proprietary formulations.
  • Accountable for maintaining environmental monitoring within clean rooms, including temperature and pressure checks, as well as incubator sample documentation for quality assurance purposes.
