Sportsman Boats Mfg. is seeking dedicated Assembly Associates to contribute to our finished assembly department. In this role, you will be responsible for wiring, installing motors and cushions, capping, rigging, and finalizing our impressive 20-35 ft center console boats.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Pull wires and install equipment such as Yamaha outboards, Garmin systems, stereo components, navigation systems, and other hardware according to specifications, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
  • Utilize basic hand tools and power equipment, including miter saws, reciprocating saws, drills, and drivers.
  • Construct T-tops and consoles.
  • Inspect components for precision and quality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in the workspace.
  • Interpret manufacturing schedules effectively.
  • Understand units of measure accurately.
  • Physically navigate in and out of boats.
  • Collaborate with team members in a dynamic production environment.
  • Embrace challenges and enjoy the process.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with air, hand, and power tools.
  • Background in boating, automotive, electrical, carpentry, or related fields.
  • Ability to climb in and out of boats, bend, and stand for extended periods.
