About the RoleWe're seeking a Guest Advocate to join our team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless interactions. As a Guest Advocate, you'll be the face of Target, providing personalized service, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive experience
- Resolve guest issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Promote and sell various benefits, offerings, and services to guests
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
- Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- Speak to the benefits of the Target RedCard with every guest and assist them through the application process
- Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and other features within the Target App
- Be familiar with all fulfillment services and direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them
- Attempt every return and follow register prompts, making it right for the guest while following Target's policies and procedures
- Deliver easy and seamless service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store open hours
- Work in a safe manner at all times, identifying and correcting hazards, and complying with all safety policies and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Knowledge of Target's products and services, as well as the ability to learn and adapt to new technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
