Job Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician to join our team at the Mt. Vernon, IL Community Based Outpatient Clinic. As a Staff Outpatient Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a panel of approximately 1,000 to 1,200 patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a primary care panel of patients and promote positive relationships to ensure efficient healthcare delivery.
  • Collaborate with a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) to provide accessible, comprehensive, and coordinated care to assigned patients.
  • Perform disease prevention activities, including screenings and health promotion activities.
  • Interpret common diagnostic tests and provide preliminary results.
