We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Events Coordinator to join our team at GoNetspeed. As a key member of our marketing department, you will play a vital role in presenting our company brand to the communities we serve through events, sponsorships, and community involvement.
Key Responsibilities- Event Planning and Execution: Assist in the development and successful implementation of our marketing initiatives, including both internal and external campaigns of varying complexity.
- Logistics and Coordination: Manage coordination, logistics, and scheduling for events, regional sponsorships, tradeshows/conferences, donations, and promotions, as well as periodically representing the company at events.
- Event Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of events from start to finish, including researching, sourcing, and negotiating event opportunities, on-site event management, and post-event follow up; including invoicing/payments, tracking data, and logistics management.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely alongside sales and field teams on event training and support.
- Reporting and Analysis: Organize post-event reporting and data analysis, sharing summaries with relevant internal teams.
- Travel and Representation: Periodic travel between various corporate locations as well as to promotional events.
- Marketing Materials and Inventory: Create and distribute customer-facing and internal marketing collateral, support documents, displays, sales support collateral, etc. Oversee inventory management of promotional items, giveaways, and apparel.
- Brand Management and Messaging: Support brand management and message development, including reviewing, proofing, and editing marketing materials for copy content, layout, position, and branding consistency.
- Marketing Calendar and Dashboard Management: Assist with marketing calendar and dashboard management and own document updates and tracking.
- Direct Mail and Execution: Assist with direct mail development and execution, including database queries and data segmentation.
- Onsite Execution Support: Provide onsite execution support for marketing programs.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- People Person: Energetic, people person with an outgoing personality. Comfortable in large group and public settings.
- Attention to Detail: Be detail oriented, demonstrate the ability to work independently, make sound decisions when required, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Marketing Experience: Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention.
- Marketing Strategy: Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
- Travel and Representation: Ability to work unpredictable hours, including some evenings and weekends. Ability to travel in-state on a regular basis and out-of-state on an as-needed basis. Must have a valid driver's license.
- Telecommunications Experience: Familiarity with online content marketing and social media strategies. Telecommunications experience is a plus but will consider successful, driven marketing professionals from other industries.
- Education: Preference will be given to candidates with an bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communication, digital media or other related field.
- Experience: 2+ years' experience in marketing, communication, and/or digital media.
