KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Efficiently and safely operate all equipment related to extrusion processes.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of raw materials and fabrics into machinery, ensuring proper handling techniques.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of products for quality assurance, documenting any defects and collaborating with the quality assurance team to maintain standards.
  • Maintain precise production records, including detailed entries into the Manufacturing Operating System.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, strictly following safety policies to mitigate risks.
  • Supervise the entire extrusion line to ensure optimal performance, making necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisory and maintenance teams to quickly identify and resolve any operational issues, minimizing downtime.
  • Comply with all practices, policies, and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 standards, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new team members on equipment operation and safety measures.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement for timely restocking.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating extrusion machinery or relevant roles.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English.
  • Proficient in using standard rulers and the metric system.
  • Possession of a GED or High School Diploma.
