Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist OB Full Time to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist OB, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in the scrub role for Cesarean Sections, under the direct supervision of the perioperative nurse.
  • Collaborate with the perinatal team to ensure correct patient identification and verification of procedures.
  • Count and verify surgical instruments, sponges, and needles with the circulating RN, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
  • Follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene and universal precautions.
