Key Responsibilities- Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, primarily during the day
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block
- Holiday Requirements: Typically 2 of the 5 holidays
- Must possess an active AZ or Compact RN License
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting
- Experience with Trauma Level 1-3 within the last 2 years is required
- Experience with gunshot wounds and stabbings is essential
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are mandatory
- TNCC certification is preferred
Floating Requirements: Shared schedule with other facilities, typically scheduled in advance with minimal last-minute changes.
Patient Care: You will handle a variety of emergency cases, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 for medical cases and 1:6 for fast track.
Facility Details: The facility is equipped with 52 beds and 4 trauma bays, ensuring a comprehensive emergency care environment.
