Cleaning Responsibilities

  • We require a reliable Cleaning Services Specialist to perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas such as apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices.
  • The ideal candidate will sweep, dust, dust mop, and wet mop all floors and stairways; spot clean and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and runners. Rotate runners in hallways and entryways.
  • Clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures and facilities; stock dispensers as necessary.
  • Our team member will scrub bath and shower room tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
  • Maintain equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Collect trash and refuse from work areas and place in designated pick-up areas.
  • Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry.
  • Ensure commercial laundry remains in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
  • Keep cleaning chemicals stored and locked when not in use.
  • Avoid hazards by keeping cords, carts, equipment out of the way at all times, not blocking exits, and in compliance with fire codes.
  • Report any needed repairs and supply/equipment needs to the Lead Housekeeper.

Qualifications and Benefits

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively speaking the primary language of residents.
  • The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrate an interest in working with seniors.
  • Courteous and friendly interactions with guests, residents, and staff are essential.
  • This position requires standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Lifting up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally is also required.
  • Specific close vision and color vision abilities are necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary estimated around $40,000-$60,000 annually based on location and experience.
